Mr Gonsalves states that during July 2012, Transnet (SOC) Limited ("Transnet") issued open tenders for the acquisition of 599 electric locomotives and 465 diesel locomotives, totaling 1064 locomotives, to support its aged locomotive fleet. He further states that CNRRSSA informed Transnet on August 9, 2012, that they would submit a bid for the supply of both diesel and electric locomotives to Transnet. Transnet received CNRRSSA's tender on April 30, 2013. During the delicate assessment process Transnet chose to part the honor of the 465 diesel trains on a 50/50 premise and granted the stockpile of 233 trains to Bombardier and 232 trains to our consortium, CRRSSA. He also touched on the proposed relocation to Durban and Agreement with BEX which is detailed on the document.textCreative CommonsFraud -- Corruption -- South Africa.Annexure A: Statement of Roberto Gonslves in relation to Business Expansion Structured Products (Pty) Limited (registration number 2009/028420/07) and BEX Structured Products (Pty) Ltd" (registration number 2000/028999/07)Judicial DocumentZondo Commission of Inquiry into State CaptureZondo Commission of Inquiry into State Capture
